Unlike many <a href=\"https:\/\/www.helpinghandshomecare.co.uk\/live-in-care\/\" data-hh-rbe-raw=\"live-in care\">live-in care<\/a> agencies, we employ a passionate nursing team and regional trainers who manage and supervise the medical interventions and medication administration our carers provide.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sometimes called personal assistants or PAs, our carers are able to deliver specialist nursing support including gastrostomy management, PEG feeding and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.helpinghandshomecare.co.uk\/home-care-services\/condition-led-care\/continence-care\/\" data-hh-rbe-raw=\"continence care\">continence care<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We can provide medical support for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Peristeen \u2013 rectal irrigation<\/li>\n<li>Suppositories and digital stimulation for bowel management<\/li>\n<li>Bladder washout<\/li>\n<li>Convene<\/li>\n<li>Urethral and Supra pubic catheter<\/li>\n<li>CPAP, BiPAP and VPAP ventilation<\/li>\n<li>Cough assist<\/li>\n<li>Diabetes blood sugar monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Stoma \u2013 ileostomy, colostomy, urostomy<\/li>\n<li>Inhalers<\/li>\n<li>PEG feeding, including bolus and continuous<\/li>\n<li>Nebiliser<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We work closely with customers, their families and existing professionals to ensure that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.helpinghandshomecare.co.uk\/home-care-services\/personal-care\/\" data-hh-rbe-raw=\"personal care\">personal care<\/a> needs are met and lifestyles maintained. Our registered nurses and local care service managers work with GPs, local hospitals and healthcare professionals to ensure that a cohesive, multi-discipline care plan is in place.<\/p>\n<p>Carers are handpicked, not only for their care knowledge and experience, but also their character and personal \u2018fit\u2019 to each of our customers. His number one priority was to not let his condition get in the way of his life \u2013 and why should it!<\/p>\n<p>Now, with his Helping Hands live-in carer, Gary no longer needs to wait around for the district nurse to give him intermittent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.helpinghandshomecare.co.uk\/home-care-services\/condition-led-care\/bowel-care-for-the-elderly\/\" data-hh-rbe-raw=\"bowel care\">bowel care<\/a>.
